Guarantee Policy:

All reservations must be guaranteed with a one-night prepayment.  The balance of room charges is due upon arrival.  The charge card used for the reservation prepayment must be present at check-in for the balance due.  If you prefer to use a different card at that time, the advance will be refunded to the original card, and the total balance will be applied to the card of your choice.  Refunds may take up to 5 business days depending on your bank’s policies.  When booking one-night reservations, please note that your phone or online advance will be refunded upon arrival and reinstated in person at that time.  Acceptable forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and cash.

PLEASE NOTE:   All reservations require a $150 credit card authorization upon check-in as security deposit which is returned the day of check-out minus any incidental charges that occurred during your stay.  Cash cannot be used as security deposit.  Damaged or otherwise unacceptable cards (such as some pre-paid and/or gift cards) cannot be used at check-in.

Reservation Terms:

Check-in is 4:00pm or after and check-out is 11:00am.  The minimum age requirement to be eligible for reservations and check-in is 25 years or older.  Pets are not allowed on the premises.  Altering a reservation may result in changes to the prices/conditions stated.   Smoking is allowed only in designated areas and is not allowed indoors, on balconies, or on the pool decks.  Violations of this policy can result in fines up to $300 and/or eviction with only partial refund for the unused portion of your stay.  If you have questions at any time, please call us at (800) 548-0767.

The Island Vista makes every effort to accommodate special requests but cannot guarantee specific floors or room numbers.  Due to the 6’9” height limitation in our parking garages, rooftop cargo containers must be removed upon arrival and stored on-site during your stay.

Please carefully review the confirmation you will receive via email upon completion of your reservation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

• For reservations cancelled up to 2 weeks before your scheduled arrival date, we will offer an 85% refund of the first night deposit.
• For reservations cancelled 2 to 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, the first night deposit is non-refundable, but may be applied to a new stay for future dates within one year of your original dates.
• For reservations cancelled within 48 hours of arrival, the first night deposit will be forfeited.
• These policies do not apply to group or special event reservations.
• For reservations booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals, guests are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

Parking:

Parking at the Island Vista is free of charge and limited to two vehicles per room or suite. Please note that our garage facilities will not accommodate vehicles over 6’9” or extra-long wheelbase trucks. Due to limited oversize vehicle parking, rooftop cargo containers must be removed, and will be securely stored by our staff for your convenience. Golf carts are not allowed and are subject to being towed. Please be sure to register your vehicle at check-in.

Pet Policy:

Pets are not allowed.

Swim Attire:

We want all of our guests and owners to enjoy the beach and pool facilities during their stay. Please be conscious of making sure all swimwear is appropriate for a family environment. While in the lobby and elevator areas, guests should wear appropriate cover-ups. In addition, The City of Myrtle Beach has a beach law and regulation which states, “Thong-style bathing suits are not allowed on the beach or in public. This includes G-strings, T-back, and dental floss style bathing suits.” Therefore, these types are bathing suits are not permitted on the property. Terms and Conditions:

Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am. Guests named in reservation must be 25 years or older to check in. Other guests or family members are not authorized to check in. Additional adult charge = $10 each (please call if you have questions).  Please note, the Island Vista is a smoke-free resort (designated areas only)… violation can result in $300 fine.  Rollaway beds are unavailable, and pack-n-play units are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
