Please note that The Island Vista Resort is not a hotel. This resort property is a condominium, where all units are individually and independently owned, and where the common areas of the property, including, but not limited to, the pool area, are managed by a singular property owners’ association. Some owners elect to rent their units, while others do not. The owner and operator of this website is a licensed rental management agent acting on behalf of certain unit owners that elect to rent their units. Accordingly, our company is not responsible for the design, construction or equipment of the resort building itself or the layout of any individual units. We are, however, dedicated to providing all of our owners and guests with any information that we may have regarding access to the facilities and available accommodations for the disabled.

The Building entrance has a long handicap ramp featuring an automatic push button door for easy entry. Many accommodations include large master baths with walk-in showers, and (when and where possible) Island Vista makes a variety of equipment options available upon request such as handicap toilet seats with handrails and shower chairs. There are entrance/exit ramps at the lobby entrance, parking decks, and pool access, and for ease onto our oceanfront balconies, we also have portable transition ramps available. The POA has provided a handicap beach wheelchair with oversize tires for use in the sand and an access point onto the beach, as well as the hydraulic lift if required for assistance into any of our pools. We take pride in having a friendly hospitality minded staff who are always happy to assist any guest in any way that we can. • Each condominium is privately owned. Each unit has an entry passage door of 32 inches or greater including the bathroom. None of the bathrooms have mobility features, but portable mobility equipment can be provided upon request and is subject to availability.
